3D printed boxes with lids: hinged, sliding and screw-top
A box with a lid is a fit problem: the lid must slide, turn or swing with a gap your printer can hold (0.2 to 0.4 mm on most FDM printers) and still close firmly. Each box here keeps that gap as a slider and the moving ones are checked through their motion on the model.

Hinged box
A box that prints in one piece with the lid open: print-in-place hinge, snap latch, any size.

Sliding-lid box
Two-part box whose lid slides in grooves and stops at the closed end, with a thumb dish to push it.

Screw-top jar
Screw-top jar with a 2-turn lid: set the size, thread pitch and wall, print both parts without supports.
