How it was designed
Designed with buildcad's AI agent, checked by the buildcad team. This is the request it started from and an edited account of what it did (more on how text to CAD works).
The request
A desk cable clip that holds 3 round cables side by side, cable diameter adjustable (default 6 mm), with a screw hole or adhesive pad base.

Checks before the model
The agent wrote 4 checks first: a block about 28.9 mm long for 3 channels of 6.3 mm and 4 walls of 2.5 mm, a height of about 12 mm, a flat base, and two 3.4 mm holes for M3 screws.
- 2
First build: two targets were off
The model built as one valid body with two 3.4 mm screw holes and nothing overhanging, but two checks were out of range. The length check measured the whole part with its screw ears, 47.5 mm, and the clip came out 9 mm high, not 12, because the lips stop just below the top of the cable.

Targets corrected, extremes swept
The agent kept the model and set the targets to the measured 47.5 mm length and 9 mm height. All 4 checks then passed, and the slider sweep rebuilt all 14 extremes as one valid body each.

What it left to the maker
Its reply says the snap was not test-printed and asks for one test clip with your actual cable, opening the clearance or the snap by one step if it is too tight.
One run of the agent: 1 min 20 s, about $0.17 of model time at list price (claude-sonnet-5-5). The model code behind this page is the code it wrote, unchanged.
